Who we are
This website, honeytreatgrp.com, is run by Honeytreat Group (“we”, “us”), the parent company of Honeytreat Limited, Honeytreat Global Services, Honeytreat Trade Academy and the Samson Soyebi Foundation. Our office is at 9A Bankole Street, Magodo Phase I, Lagos, Nigeria. We are responsible for the personal data you share with us through this website, and we handle it in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us, plus basic technical data needed to run the website.
- Contact form: your name, phone number, email address, company (optional), the topic of your enquiry and your message.
- Job applications: your name, email address, phone number, location, LinkedIn profile, portfolio link (optional), years of experience, your CV and anything in it, and your cover note (optional).
- Emails and calls: the details you share when you contact us directly.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, recorded automatically by our website host for security and to keep the site working.
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 through it.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and route it to the right company in the group.
- To provide the services you ask for, or to prepare a quote or proposal.
- To review your job application and contact you about it.
- To keep the website secure and fix problems.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.
Our legal basis
- Consent: when you submit a form or application and agree to us using your details.
- Contract: when we need your details to take steps before, or to carry out, an agreement with you.
- Legitimate interests: to run and secure our website and respond to business enquiries.
- Legal obligation: when the law requires us to keep or share information.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Transfers outside Nigeria
Some of our service providers store data outside Nigeria. When this happens, we take steps to make sure your data is protected to the standard required by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: for as long as we need to deal with your request, and no longer than 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a client.
- Job applications: up to 12 months after the role is filled, so we can consider you for similar roles, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you join us, your application becomes part of your staff record.
- Technical data: for as long as our host keeps its security logs.
How we protect it
We use secure (HTTPS) connections, limit access to the people who need it, and choose service providers that protect data properly. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information we have not asked for.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use your data;
